Our Features

Document Notarisation

Notarisation involves certifying a document as either an authentic copy of an original document, or as having been validly executed. The main aim of notarization is that of proving document integrity at a certain point of time in the past.

  1. Document integrity: Ensures the content of the document has not been modified since the document has been created.
  2. Issuance Status: Checks that the document has been issued and that its issuance status is in good standing (for instance, that it hasn't been revoked).

The checksum of a document will be inputted into a transaction as Metadata. Any changes in a document will change the checksum of a document.

Non-Fungible Documents (NFD)

A Non-fungible Document (NFD), similar to NFTs but for documents is a unique digital identifier that cannot be copied, substituted, or subdivided, that is recorded in a blockchain, and that is used to certify ownership and authenticity.

Another feature of NFDs is that they can be tag with a royalty to the original creator. The royalties are credited to the originator each time the NFD is transacted from one user to another. It encourages literary digital content creators to release their works as NFDs as they can benefit from the royalties.

Non-Fungible Documents (NFD) will be implemented using cw721 and cw1155 on cosmwasm on the SIGN blockchain.

Verifiable Credentials (COMING SOON)

Verifiable Credentials are a set of credentials that can be verified on the SIGN Chain. These credentials can consist of the document metadata or its annotation data (e.g., Signer signature). Users are able to choose which data would make up this verifiable credential at the point of creation, which allows them to leave out information that may be too sensitive or unnecessary for a credential.
